2011 Biennial Conference

Indianapolis to Host Our 2011 Biennial Conference

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NC100BW) is excited as we begin to plan our 2011 Biennial Conference which will take place in the centrally located city of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Indianapolis is the capital city of Indiana, the 3rd largest city in the Midwest and well known for its Children’s Museum and Indianapolis 500 Mile Race.

NC100BW members will convene to celebrate 30 years of advocacy, leadership development, and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic development.

The collective body will join together to conduct the business of the organization, elect new leadership, and adopt the resolutions that will guide the planning and programming efforts for the next two years. Educational sessions and forums will lift up pertinent subjects that are certain to enlighten, uplift, and generate thought provoking conversations.

NC100BW member Anita Harden will serve as national chair of the Biennial Planning Conference Committee while Colleen Bolden Smith will assume the leadership role for the host chapter in Indianapolis.

Together, they will ensure conference development, arrangements, logistics and execution.

The Biennial conference will bring together an extraordinary group of members, inspirational presenters, and special guests. Check this website often for the conference updates and details. We look forward to this exciting event and we encourage each of you to make plans to join us in October of 2011 for our 15th Biennial Conference.

Come tour the city, shop, engage in official coalition business and continue to "build partnerships through creative alliances".
